We have been hard at work on the latest software/firmware build 2.17.55!
Among countless small bugfixes and improvements, the main few are:
- Victron DVCC functionality! This allows Victron users to gridfeed at full current while keeping their battery from overcharging
- Massively improved WiFi stability - We heard your complaints about 54 and picked it apart to make sure your systems stay connected going forward.
- Better CANBUS stability - no more errors due to timeouts or cell voltage drops (in our in-house testing, but you can help here!)
- Better Auto Level functionality
- TBB Power inverter profile added
- Backend support for our in-development charting and insights.
If you want these features first, we are looking for beta testers that meet the following requirements:
- You need to have your system provisioned on our BMI system so that we can log its performance and make sure everything is functioning as it should
- You need to be reasonably responsive (1-2 days) to requests via email so we can help you tune up your systems at a reasonable pace.
- If you want to use DVCC, a read-only link to your VRM portal will help us analyse the full picture there.
If you are interested, email us at info@batrium.com with your serial no and which inverter/charger you are using, a bit of info about your system (chemistry, configuration, size etc), and some photos of your system. We are interested in all makes and models of inverters, HV and LV batteries, LFP, NMC or whatever your chemistry is!
We’ve chosen to do this via email so that your advice doesn’t get lost in a big crowded thread of advice for others, and to make sure your system details are private if you need them to be.
