Eg4 12000xp integration with watchmon core

Has anyone successfully used watchmon to communicate with the eg4 12000xp inverters? I have two parallel inverters paired with 60kwh of lifepo4 diy storage. Should I order the Batrium watchmon core with a couple of cellmate k9’s or am I setting myself up for failure?

Hi Capcon,

It appears that some of our customers have been able to get a smaller model to work with caveats:

I am using the Watchmon core with cellmate k9, connected to a couple of paralleled EG4 12000xp’s via Pylon LV and I have experienced the exact same conditions as above. The most important pack info is being transmitted but there is a scaling issue as discussed.
I have noticed that the inverters prioritize whatever settings are input there , over whatever charge/discharge settings are input in Watchmon when there is a discrepancy between the two. For now I am charging by voltage settings on the inverter and just using the Batrium system as the safety layer, with cutout voltages set higher than at the inverter. My diy control system has the Watchmon core/expansion board relays set to open a main contactor if pack or cell voltages get above the desired limit.

Update.
I booked a zoom meeting with tech support and Jaron identified a couple of settings that needed to be adjusted to get the scaling right so my Eg4 inverters report the correct values for charging amps.
Highly recommend taking advantage of the live tech support via zoom conferencing.
