Wizard problem

I just up-graded to the Watchmon core with the K9 (thank you James for the help there). Good deal, look forward to better balancing.
Only one problem. Everything set up and is working, but when I run the wizard it keeps telling me that “settings sent have not been confirmed from.” And the Wizard stops running.
I have a 14 cell 52V Li-Ion battery. And a 500A shuntmon (not positive which one but assume the 650V version as that reads correct voltage when it is selected). Without getting the Wizard running, I cannot set up custom voltage setting for the battery. I do not need to charge cells to 4.1 volts, as 3.9V gives me plenty of capacity (Ah capacity is 625) has worked fine for 5 years now. I have tried everything I can think of (sync is fine, firmware updated, etc). I have changed other setting (such as SOC%, of course that is the shunt) and no problem. The K9 has one light blinking green, the other light–one closest to the temp sensors–is constant red). I assume that indicates a problem, but don’t know what. The Watchmon Core how four green lights and then one which is white and flashes.
I did run the network test and bypass test and they both passed. I also tried to reboot the system, and that did not change anything. I tried changing it to the default settings and get the same error message–though it does seem to change the settings.
Thanks for any suggestions of what I can try.

As what should be no surprise to anyone, I am an idiot.
I finally figured it out. I HADN’T SET TO THE CORRECT TIME!!!
Did that and all is as it should be.
(bangs head against cabinet multiple times).

Hi Rick,

Thanks for posting, and thanks even more for sharing your solution!

This is a known bug with the latest version of ToolKit2, and will be fixed in our next release.

The workaround is very simple, as you discovered:

  1. Perform a Time Sync
  2. Retry the Wizard Setup

Not your fault at all!
