Im I the only person with this problem?
It will not accept to download it to my Download Map
With Winodws 10 (22h2) it will download.
But if i place it on my distribution server it will get the same message (VIRUS), and its removed.
Is there an sollution?
Hi Koen,
Sorry to hear that. We sign our code with Microsoft, and submit our software for whitelisting for virus software, but occasionally we will manually have to submit one. What software is causing this problem on your machine? (or is it Windows itself?)
Here is where we submit for whitelisting:
Hi James,
Its W11 23h2.
I dont use any virusscanner but the default from Microsoft itself corse this message.
Norton did the same and refused to make a allowance for this item. I sent it to Norton with a description of the issue and Batrium as the source. I had to permanently disable Norton antivirus and firewall for the install to complete and then re-enable after that was complete. No issues after the install completed.
Hi Guys,
Just an update, we have submitted our latest installer to Microsoft directly for whitelisting. Hopefully this propagates to your PCs soon.
As part of a different process, we sign our code officially with Microsoft, so we can say it has not been tampered with, it just unfortunately matches a signature of something it’s not.
Had same issue with Windows 10 downloading the latest Toolkit 2.17.57 about 2 weeks ago (early Jan 2025). Had to disable Windows anti-virus for the duration of the download.
Hi James,
Installation of v2.17.57 runs smoothly.
All works fine now.
thx
