Wifi/network access is only possible, if the WMC is in the same network (broadcast domain) like the client. Would be great, if one could also connect to a routed WMC by manually entering it’s IP address.

Luckily, we are close to this, you can change your WiFi to Web Only to disable UDP broadcast, and our future Telematics system (more info here) can be pointed to a specific server.
Also, Limited will only send a device discovery message, unless the software is open, in which case it will send all messages.
