WatchMonCORE Relay-A

WatchMonCORE Relay-A

How can I program it? Which entry from the dropdown menu is the right one?

I want to disconnect the battery when the cell voltage of a single battery cell falls below a preset value and exceeds it.

Example:
2.5V relay should switch off when this value is undershot
3.65 relay should switch off when this value is exceeded

Where do I set 2.5V?
Where do I set 3.65V?

I want to set all the values myself and not use any presets.

2.5V and 3.65V are just examples, my numbers will look different

Hi cit,

This is the option for high or low cell voltage:

(Cmu = Cell Monitoring Unit)

And the limits are configured in the Hardware > CellMon tab:

CV2 and CV11

Thank you for your help.

When the trip occurs, the contact is closed (current flows) suitable for MCCB Shut-Trip
For example ABB sace tmax
or
When the trip occurs, the contact is opened (current is interrupted) suitable for relays
For example EV200ADANA

Can I choose whether current flows or is interrupted?

Hi cit,

It sounds like you want the critical rules instead. Simply adjust the CellVolt Hi and CellVolt Lo on the Control > Critical tab to the thresholds you want.

From there, you can use the following options on the Expansion tab depending on your desired operation:

  1. Critical BattOk - This will be active (relay closed) whenever the battery is OK (not in critical)
  2. Critical Pulse Off (CB Trip) - Will be pulsed for a few seconds when the battery enters a critical state
  3. Critical Fault - This will be active (relay closed) whenever the battery is in critical state (and stays that way until it is OK again)
