I’ve got some tesla Model S modules (from a 85 kWh pack) that I want to get connected up to an inverter for ESS. The inverter will likely be a Victron setup.
Internally, each module is a 74p/6s setup and runs at around 20-25V, so ideal for use in a 48V system. Each module also and has temperature monitoring etc so it would save a lot of wiring / cost to use the onboard battery management board (BMB).
I’ve seen several threads mentioning that there may be a solution available soon (the most recent one being in Jul 2024: Tesla BMB Boards) that allow us to re-use the Tesla boards.
Is there any progress on this? Or is CellMate-K9 the best option: Tesla Batteries and CellMate-K9 | Batrium Knowledge / Wiki
