One of my K9’s labeled with serial 511618046 K reports valid cell voltages, but Toolkit shows it as serial [4294967295]and HW255.255. I changed the comms order and the placeholder identity followed that physical K9 from cells 33-48 to cells 49-64. Device Sync reports success and all cells report voltage, but the invalid identity follows the module. Does this indicate a defective K9 requiring replacement?
I also have never heard back from support concerning getting an RMA or guidance on fixing two other k9’s that would not report cell voltages. James? Whats up?
Hi Capcon,
Your RMA is definitely still open - now that your replacements have arrived we can go through that procedure.
I can see we have a few open emails with you, I’ll get back to you there today!
I wanted to follow up here and express my thanks and appreciation to the Batrium team for their professionalism and support.
I had some cell-voltage monitoring issues with a couple of CellMate K9s, and James and Jaron worked with me to help figure out what may have caused the problem. At James’ suggestion, I booked a Zoom meeting with Jaron to go over the basics of my installation. What was expected to be a 30-minute review of the physical installation quickly turned into an hour-plus, in-depth review and fine-tuning of my complete system.
Jaron was an immense help in moving my Toolkit settings from a crude commissioning stage to a more refined, operation-ready configuration for daily charging and discharging.
I highly recommend that anyone commissioning a new battery pack book a technical support Zoom conference with Jaron or another Batrium team member and take advantage of their knowledge and experience.
