I have copied various batrium and inverter screens to the following dropbox file:
If you need more just let me know.
Would it be worthwhile downloading the Sunsynk connect remote app and see if you can communicate with your inverter? The Deye screens have a different layout to the Sunsynk screens but the control software may be the same?
Thanks for sharing your settings. From atrium side, all thresholds and so on are transmitted correctly to the Deye. I also think the HW and the SW should be really the same, but I am sure there are big SW bugs in my SW firmware version. Can you make a picture of your HMI and MCU version?
For example:
I also set parallel BMS 1&2 and for a test I set 2A charge current with charge voltage that was not reached. The result: one battery port was charging with 33A and the other battery port was discharging with 31A. Okay, my battery was charged with 2A in the end, but at what cost? I don’t want to heat my room
I did not reach charge mode although there was export to grid and battery was not fully charged. Current was allowed and the voltage was not reached. The only way to get back into charge mode was to set a SoC in the time table that is higher than the transmitted SoC of the BMS.
Up to now, I am really disappointed from the 30kW Deye high voltage hybrid inverter. From Batrium side, everything seems to be transmitted correctly and no alarms are active.
What do you observe when you get near the charge voltage from Batrium side? Does your inverter stay in charge mode or does is also change to discharge? Today I had a measured voltage of 269V. Then I switched charging voltage to 272V and it immediately discharges with maximum allowed discharge current. I do not know why this happens… Charging current was still allowed and not zero.
My version is: HMI Ver2001-C027 MAIN: Ver3103-1061-1E08
Today we tried to update to 1066, but this was not successful. Deye tried it remote and failed four times. Then they send me the binary file and I tried it local, but it also di not work …
My charge voltage on the inverter is set at 350v but the batrium never gets above 330 - 335 v
Once the battery gets to 100% SOC the inverter shuts off until there is a need for discharge.
Hello folks,
I’m currently considering swapping my SMA Sunny Island for a Deye 12k Hybrid so that I can increase my charging and discharging performance.
Does the Deye now work properly with the CAN protocol?
I’ve read about problems with timeouts and that the Deye is charging the battery even though Batrium is in Limited Mode.

Please consider that Deye and Sunsynk is the same hardware, but not the same software!
I can only talk for the Deye 30kW SG01HP3 with latest firmware. Here the problems are still not solved. The problems are on the side of Deye, but the updates for the communication and HW handling on their side is not changing.
If you choose BYD CAN at Batrium, it sets charge voltage at zero when you for example reach a limit during balancing or something. Then the Deye inverter sets an BMS communication fault and starts to discharge for a few minutes.
What I also observed, when I set the Deye to battery charge 0A, it still charges the battery with 0,5A when solar export is available. Nearly all of this behavior is also seen with original BYD HVS storage: BYD HVS 10.2 Speicher an DEYE SUN-20k-SG01HP3-EU-AM2 schaltet sich ab – Seite 2 – Technische Fragen – dy-support.org Forum
Here for example the system has been gone in over voltage condition and separated itself with the BMS relay.
I also had the GoodWe ET 30kW and its behavior was more of what I expected. If charge or discharge current was set to 0A, it shuts down its DC power stage and the BMS showed 8W consumption. Deye inverter consumes between 50W and 150W when the current was set to zero because the power stage is still active. I really hope that they fix this issue in the next software releases.
I am also thinking about switching back to the GoodWe because the only disadvantage is that my second inverter can not be supplied by the backup port.
