So this may be an dumb and obvious question but does your WatchMon CORE actually protect the battery or is it just a monitor? Does it offer charge current protection, low temp charge protection, cell over voltage protection, cell over voltage protection etc. And are these values configurable or set to battery type.
Our product is very configurable and will operate based on these parameters. We have standard profiles for LiFePO4 typical and LongLife and for LI Ion both Performance and LongLife. to help you configure your system. These are a great place to start but we allow you to tweak and configure the values. Since WatchMon plus we have been able to measure and monitor down to 0.5V and hence can monitor LTO batteries also and these are configured manually. As with everything provided you have set it up sensibly and are using a circuit breaker or similar triggered by the WatchMon it can protect the battery and act on temperature, over voltage, under voltage on overcurrent, over and under voltage Expansion Output Functions indicates all the possible triggers that can be used.
