Dashboard display for an EV from a watchmon wifi AP

Hi
I’m slowly building an on-farm EV starting with a Haflinger chassis. So far I’ve practiced my welding getting the Haflinger body to be one piece again, and built some battery boxes to sling under it. At this stage its 16S3P with 50AH CATL cells. I used a watchmon4 and a 500A shuntmon. Its got 16 bmon8’s.

I got the battery BMS running on the battery , and decided I wanted a dashboard displau of a few key parameters, like pack voltage, current, SOC and individual cell min/max voltage and temperature.

Looking around, Batriums WatchMonUDPListener was a very useful information source. That gave me all the hints necessary to build a working display. I used a pair of relatively expensive Sharp sunlight readable displays, kind of a cross between LCD and e-ink. They work well enough if you need full sun and don’t need a backlight.

Information is here GitHub - galah-x/dashdisplay: ESP32 dashboard display for EV using a Batrium BMS if anyone needs something similar.
