CellMonM8 defect since last Balancing?

This morning I attempted to perform a maintenance charge. My intention was to recalibrate the SOC and give the battery the opportunity to initiate cell balancing.

Suddenly, I encountered a critical error in the Victron system. Upon inspecting the battery, I noticed that the last three of the total 16 CellMonM8 devices were no longer blinking. Restarting the system, checking the wiring, and performing general troubleshooting did not resolve the issue.

A Batrium network test causes all LEDs on all CellMons to illuminate. However, the network test runs in a continuous loop because the status keeps toggling between “running” and “timeout.”

I hesitate to say it outright, but I suspect that one — or possibly all three — of the last CellMons may have failed during balancing. What is particularly interesting is that the daisy chain still passes through completely, and even the three suspected faulty CellMons light up during the network test.

How can I perform a targeted diagnosis in this situation?

Below you can see all LEDs are on while network testing.

Hi Duz,

Could you please provision your device if you haven’t already, and PM me your serial number? That will let us check it in a read-only manner from our end:

How old is this system?

Keen to get to the bottom of this one!
